Live Three Card Poker

The aim is to have a better poker hand than the dealer with only 3 cards.

To start, you need to place an ante wager. You can also place an optional side bet called ‘pair plus’ before the round starts; this is a bet on you having a poker hand of a pair or better.

The dealer draws cards and deals 3 face-down cards to all players and themselves. You then look at your hand and decide if you want to play it or not. If you do not wish to play your hand, you can fold, and the dealer takes your ante wager. They also claim your pair plus bet if you placed one.

If you do wish to play your hand, then you need to place a play wager that is equal to the ante wager in amount. 

The cards are then turned over. The dealer only plays if they have a hand of Queen-high or better. If they don’t, the play wager is returned to you. If they do, then the cards are compared to see who has the better hand.

If you have a better hand than the dealer, you win and receive a payout on your ante wager and play wager at even money (1:1). However, if the dealer has the better hand, then they collect your ante wager and play wager.

The pair plus is decided separately; it is not concerned with who won. If you have a hand of pairs or better, then you win this side bet and receive a payout.

Texas Hold’em Live Poker

In Texas Hold’em, the aim is to make the best 5-card poker hand possible using your hole cards and the community cards.

The first round of betting is called the ‘pre-flop’ and is played based on only the hole cards. After this round, 3 community cards are placed, and this round is known as the ‘flop’.
