Narcos Slot Game Overview

NetEnt ensures that the design of this slot reflects the theme perfectly. In the background is a classic Colombian street view of the 1970s. You’ll see buildings on the left side and more in the background. By the right-hand side, there’s a tree and a road sign. There’s a salsa soundtrack with gunfire rounds and siren effects accompanying the gameplay.

Narcos is played on 5 reels, 3 rows, and 243 winning ways. You must land at least 3 matching symbols on adjacent reels, from left to right, to create a winning combo. The bet sizes range from £20 to £10 per spin.

Many of the symbols in the slot are from the Narcos TV series. The low-value symbols include the card ranks A, K, Q, and J. After that comes the two medium-value symbols: a pink flamingo and an aircraft.

There are four high-paying symbols, which are characters from the series. The most lucrative are the DEA agents: Javier Peña and Steve Murphy. They both pay out 30x your stake for matching 5 on consecutive reels.

The Wild symbol in Narcos is represented by the DEA badge. It can replace all other symbols except the Scatter and Locked Up symbols. It also awards 30x your stake for landing 5-of-a-kind on adjacent reels. The Scatter symbol is represented by a car.

The Narcos slot is available to play online at 666 Casino. You can also find a host of other great online casino games on our site.

Walking Wild

This feature is activated if you land a Wild DEA badge in a winning combo. The DEA badge transforms into a Walking Wild. With every spin, it walks one position to the left, providing more chances to create a winning combo. The Walking Wild continues to shift left until it leaves the grid. It can show up during the main game or Extra Spins.

Drive-By Feature

This feature may randomly trigger during the main game. If active, you’ll see a speeding car pull up at the back of the reels. A character steps out of the car and starts shooting at the reels. If a bullet hits a high-value symbol, it is turned Wild.

Locked Up Bonus

To activate this, you need to land 3 of the Locked Up symbols on the same row. The Locked Up symbol is an image of Pablo Escobar with a “CATCH ME” poster.

The 3 Locked Up symbols that trigger the bonus could be assigned a multiplier value ranging from 1x to 10x your stake.

After that, you’re awarded 3 respins. On these respins, you can either have blanks, locked up, or Golden Locked Up symbols appear on the reels. If 3 or more connected Locked Up and Golden Locked Up symbols land, they form a winning cluster.

Golden Locked Up Feature

During the Locked Up feature, if a Golden Locked Up symbol lands close to a cluster of Locked Up symbols, it triggers one of the following bonuses:

  • Multiplier – A 2x or 3x multiplier applies to all values in the cluster.
  • Symbols Upgrade – Upgrades values of symbols by 1x the stake. This can occur between 7 and 15 times for each time this feature triggers.
  • High Starting Value – The Golden Locked Up symbol gets an extra value as starting value.

Extra Spins Feature

To activate the Extra Spins, you must land at least one Scatter each on reels 1, 3, and 5. You are then awarded 10 spins. During the Extra Spins, high-value symbols may change to Wilds, and they can act as Walking Wilds – just like in the base game.

However, Walking Wilds could be left on the reels after you use up your 10 Extra Spins. In this case, more Extra Spins are awarded until the Walking Wilds drop off the reels.

Return To Player

Return to Player (RTP): 96.23%

RTP is used to explain the potential money that an online slot or casino game can pay back to players. It appears as a percentage and is generally calculated from gameplay over a long duration of time.

For example, if a slot has a RTP of 97% this means that it could pay back £97 for every £100 wagered.

However, there is no guarantee that players will receive this amount, as slot payouts are entirely random.
